Where You’ll Stay & Work
Located in Sequim, Washington—You Are Here is an intimate space for individual artists or collaborators (up to 3 people) to nourish themselves and their craft.
The residency space is a 900 sq. ft. 2-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, bathroom, and separate downstairs workspace. The living space has a queen bed in each bedroom, closet space, fresh linens, basic toiletries, cooking basics, and WiFi.
The workspace has a desk, a small library, a sewing machine and sewing table, basic notions, collage materials, pens, pencils, and paper, and a bathroom available.
Unfortunately, neither space is wheelchair accessible. No pets (service animals are allowed), and no smoking indoors.

Room
Sequim, Washington (Jamestown S’Klallam ancestral lands) is located in the Northern Olympic Peninsula, about three hours west of Seattle. It is a rural area with a population of about 8,200 along the Dungeness River.
The residency is located on what used to be an old lavender farm, with mountain and water views, a forest perimeter, and nearby beaches.
More About the Area
On the balcony of the living space, you will have views of Mt. Baker, Protection Island, and is located less than 10 minutes from beautiful beaches for sunset walks and birding. The house is 1 hour away from Lake Crescent in Olympic National Park, 3 hours away from the Hoh Rainforest, and has many easy-to-moderate hikes close by. Sequim is small and charming, offering quaint coffee shops, bakeries and cafes, farmstands with local produce, and lavender farms.
While we are in the rain shadow, nights can get chilly, and rain can happen unexpectedly. It’s recommended to bring warm layers and a raincoat. It can’t hurt to have good hiking shoes, either.
